About our School

Our mission is to:

"Reach and Teach Every Child Every Day by guiding students through a standard based curriculum!"

Welcome to Wes-Del Elementary! Our school consists of grades kindergarten through fifth grade.  Our kindergarten program is a full day program.  The enrollment of our school is approximately 364 students. There are three grades per grade level.  Wes-Del Elementary is a Professional Development School (PDS) in partnership with Ball State University. We are a North Central/AdvancEd accrediated school. Wes-Del Elementary School is an exemplary school. The School has made adequate yearly progress for the past several years. Our staff is all highly qualified.

We encourage all parents and or guardians to be very involved in their child's education. We count on our parents to be a positive partner so that our students will achieve and do their best.

Our students are active in the community and help others as responsible citizens.  Our staff and students support  Riley Children's Hospital, the local food bank, The Ronald McDonald House, and Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.

Our school is a Title One targeted assisted school.  This enables us to apply for grant funding to provide extra help for students in reading and math.

Some of our extra curricular school programs are choir, Art Club, Book Club, Math Bowl, Spell Bowl, and Science Clubs.

We have many special days and activities organized by our active Parent Teacher Organization such as our Food, Fun, and Family Nights, Grandparent's Day, Pastries for Parents, School Carnival, and book give aways for students.

Wes-Del Elementary is a great place to be for our students, parents, staff, and community.  Please feel free to call and schedule a visit at any time.
